Hi, welcome to my website. I hope you like it. I built it myself and it was pretty fun to do, although my
husband thought I was having a nervous breakdown several times during the process. I spent many
hours holed up in our home office, sometimes muttering to myself quietly, occasionally cursing the
computer (not so quietly) and yes, I even burst into tears a couple of times while I tried to decipher web
page mumbo-jumbo or find a "missing" file that I had just spent three hours creating. (Hmm, that
crybaby admission could come back to haunt me someday if I ever throw my hat in the ring and run for
public office, forget that I said that.)

Why did I torture myself and do this you ask? Two reasons. One, I was tired of googling my name and
being directed to websites about dogs named Lilli, German Barbie dolls, and numerous other Lilli's
including a stripper, a renowned Danish educator, along with oodles of Lillian obituaries (and no, my
name is not Lillian, just Lilli). Two, I heard a really smart sounding guy on TV one night say that
everyone should have their own website these days (he didn't say why), and because my techy son
was too busy to do it for me, I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, huh! Who needs those computer savvy
whiz kids anyway? Just because my memory impaired 40-something brain is totally dependant on
writing everything down on yellow Post-it Notes and sticking them all over the kitchen cabinets doesn't
mean I can't learn something new. Of course, I could have hired someone to design my website and
saved myself all the trouble, but I’m too cheap (plus I'm a Virgo and we like to think that we can do
anything we set our obsessive-compulsive minds to do).
